REVSPEX®
YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Effective September 17, 2026

Information you provide

Revspex processes information you add to your account and garage. This may include your name, username, email address, phone number, garage details, vehicle details such as a VIN and odometer reading, photos, dashboard images, notes, maintenance and service records, ownership costs, renewal details, receipts, documents, vehicle manuals, extracted document text, questions, saved answers, and reminders. Avoid including unnecessary personal information in uploads, documents, or questions.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, maintain your account, save and display your garage, provide subscription features, process vehicle photos and documents, look up vehicle information, find and process manuals, answer questions you submit, create reminders and reports, enforce usage limits, troubleshoot errors, secure the service, and provide the features you request. We do not use information from the Revspex app to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not sell personal information to data brokers.

App permissions and information stored on your device

The iPhone app requests camera or photo-library access only when you choose to photograph or select vehicle-related content. Augmented-reality features use the camera to place a model in your surroundings; Revspex does not collect precise location through these features. The app may store your session securely in the iOS Keychain and keep vehicle information, photos, downloaded files, reminders, and conversation history on your device for offline access and performance. Local notification permission is used for reminders you create. You can change camera, photo, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.

Storage and service providers

Revspex uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and private files. Twilio Verify may process your phone number and verification messages when you use SMS authentication. Apple processes App Store subscriptions and provides Revspex with product, entitlement, and transaction-status information; Revspex does not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details from Apple. Hosting and infrastructure providers process requests, technical logs, and errors as needed to operate, protect, and diagnose the service. Private files may use time-limited access URLs. These protections reduce unauthorized access, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

AI-assisted features

When you choose an AI-assisted feature, relevant vehicle details and the content needed to perform your request may be sent to Anthropic or another disclosed processing provider. Depending on the feature, this may include a question, selected manual passages, a vehicle or dashboard photo, a VIN image, a receipt or document, or extracted text. The current manual question tools omit the structured VIN field from vehicle details sent to the AI provider, although information you place directly in a question, photo, or document may still be included. AI-assisted features are optional, and their output may be incomplete or incorrect.

Optional VIN lookup and external sources

If you request a VIN lookup, your VIN is sent to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle information service to retrieve suggested vehicle details. You can enter vehicle details manually instead. Manual discovery may use web search to locate manufacturer sources, and external manufacturer links are governed by those sites’ privacy practices.

Cookies, browser storage, and diagnostics

The web service uses cookies or browser storage to maintain your session. Earlier versions saved garage entries in local browser storage; importing those entries does not automatically erase the original browser backup. You can clear site data in your browser, although doing so may sign you out or remove locally stored entries. Revspex may receive crash, performance, request, and other diagnostic information from Apple and its infrastructure providers. Diagnostic information is used to maintain reliability, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and protect the service.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Saved information is retained while needed to provide your account and the features you use, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security. You can edit or remove cars and other records through available controls. Deleting a visible record may not immediately remove every copy from backups or operational logs. When deletion of your login and personal profile is completed, Revspex removes or de-identifies the information associated with your identity. Vehicle records and their related history may be retained in anonymized form, without an account owner; those records will no longer be accessible or recoverable by you. You can start the available deletion flow in the app or contact support@revspex.com. You may also request access or correction. Available rights depend on where you live.

Sharing

Your garage is private to your account while your account is active rather than a public profile. Information is processed by service providers as described above and may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, enforce agreements, or protect legal rights. We do not share app data for third-party targeted advertising.

Children and updates

Revspex is not intended for children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information. We may update this policy as our features or practices change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
